General Municipal Election - November 3, 2026
The next General Municipal Election for the City of Azusa will be held on November 3, 2026, for the purpose of electing individuals to the following seats, each for a term of four (4) years:
- City Councilmember - District 1
- City Councilmember - District 3
- City Clerk – At Large
- City Treasurer – At Large
Registered voters in Districts 1 and 3 will have the opportunity to vote for one Councilmember in the district in which they reside. Registered voters city-wide will have the opportunity to vote for the offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer. There are no term limits.
The Mayor is selected from the membership of the City Council to preside at Council Meetings and to act as the ceremonial head of the City. The Mayor Pro-Tem is selected at the same time and acts in the absence of the Mayor.
Candidate Filing Period
The nomination period for Districts 1 and 3, City Clerk, and City Treasurer begins on Monday, July 13, 2026 and closes Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. There are no eligible incumbents for City Council Districts 1 and 3 due to Districting.

Following the randomized drawing conducted by the Secretary of State on August 13, 2026, the "Official List" of qualified candidates will be posted in the order they shall appear on the ballot.
