Event: The Government of Bangladesh has declared March 17–23 as public holidays for Eid al-Fitr. Additionally, March 26 is a public holiday for Independence Day. As a result, many businesses may remain closed through March 26, and some services could be limited or unavailable. Travelers should anticipate large crowds at popular destinations, heavy traffic, and possible disruptions to normal operations. Moreover, to conserve fuel reserves, the Government of Bangladesh has imposed additional measures to reduce consumption, which have included caps on fuel purchases and extending school and official holidays.
As a reminder, many countries require passports to have at least six months of validity remaining for entry. If your passport is set to expire soon, renew it now to help ensure smooth travel.
