All immigrant visa applicants, including Diversity Visa applicants and fiancé(e) applicants, regardless of age, must submit a medical examination prepared by a panel physician. The medical exam is only valid for (at most) six months and must be valid in order for an applicant to travel to the United States. It is therefore recommended that applicants obtain their medical exams two weeks before the interview date.
