The U.S. Embassy in Norway limits passport appointments for those who require an in-person appearance. If you are using Form DS-82 (Adult Passport Renewal), please submit by mail. For Social Security appointments write to FBU.Oslo@ssa.gov

You can fill out the correct form, or find information about your passport status at https://travel.state.gov.
You must provide one photo on a white background with your passport application. Our photo policies apply to adults and children. We have a few exceptions to our photo policies for infants.
If you are travelling abroad and your passport validity expires, you can apply for a full-validity regular passport or a limited-validity emergency passport. Replacing a full-validity passport requires a minimum of two weeks. An emergency passport can usually be issued within two business days. Contact the American Citizens Services unit for more information on applying for an emergency limited-validity passport:
