Description
Three 3 member board consisting of one appointment by the Rowan County Board of Commissioners, one by the City of Salisbury and one by the Kannapolis City Council. Appointments based on the appointee’s interest in public affairs, good judgment, knowledge, ability and good moral character. Generally meets monthly.
Purpose
To perform duties of general operations of ABC Stores in Rowan County. Operations are including but not limited to: buying, selling, and transporting alcoholic beverages, hiring and firing employees, issuing permits, buy and lease property, adopting rules for ABC Stores and other daily operating tasks.
