Description
Seven members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners and must reside within the planning jurisdiction of the county, and not within another municipality or their extra territorial jurisdiction (ETJ). Members are appointed to three year terms. Generally meets monthly.
Purpose
To enhance the environmental and aesthetic quality of neighborhoods, as well as the rural areas of the County, to strengthen the economic base by the stimulation of the tourist industry, and to establish and improve property values by generating an improved appearance in older, transitional areas.
