Description
Members should possess an interest in the recreation needs of the community as well as a desire to provide adequate recreation programs and facilities for the people in Rowan County. Members serve three-year terms. Generally meets monthly.
Purpose
To provide, maintain, operate and supervise the public parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, recreation centers and other recreation facilities owned or controlled by Rowan County, or leased or loaned to the Rowan County Parks and Recreation Commission.
