Description
Seven to ten members appointed by the Rowan County Board of Commissioners. Composition to consist of the following: Rowan Vocational Opportunities, Trinity Living Center, Therapeutic Recreation, Rufty Holmes Nutrition Program, Rowan County Health Department, and no less than two at large Rowan County citizens. Meets quarterly.
Purpose
Advocates for public and human service transportation services, and reviews all applications for grant funding to Department of Transportation, subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners authorizing submission of grants.
