Description
Seven members are appointed to three-year terms. Members should have special interests in special population needs and recreation resources to meet those needs.
Meetings
The board usually meets the second Monday of each month from 4-5 pm. Please be aware that the meeting date may change due to holidays, inclement weather, or scheduling conflicts. Unless otherwise specified, meetings will take place at Salisbury City Park, 316 Lake Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144.
Purpose
To provide input, guidance, and support into the development and implementation of recreation/leisure activities to meet the needs and interests of individuals with disabilities living in Rowan County.
