Description
The District is governed by a Board of Directors, not members. The Board of Directors must broadly represent the principal economic interests of the Centralina Region.
Purpose
The objective of the Centralina Economic Development District is to promote a strong and growing economy by carrying out community economic development programs in the North Carolina counties in the Centralina Region.
The Bylaws changed in 2023, changing the Public Sector seat to a two-year term and the private sector seat remains a three-year term. Changes took effect 1/1/24.
