Description
The Board of Commissioners appoints three members to the 24-member board for a two-year term. Members must be representatives of the private sector, educational agencies, organized labor, rehabilitation agencies, community-based organizations, economic development agencies or public employment services or appointed public officials. Generally meets six times per year.
Purpose
To make decisions about the allocation of funds, choice of service providers, monitoring activities, and coordination of various local job-training efforts to further workforce preparedness in the County.
