Description
Fourteen members serve on the board with four of those appointed by the Board of Commissioners. All members must be residents of the administrative area of the institution and no person who has been employed or has an immediate family member who has been employed by the institution within the past five years may be selected. Generally meets monthly.
Purpose
General Statute states “Each community college established or operated pursuant to the Chapter shall be governed by a board of trustees”.
