THIS IS A NOTICE OF MONITORING OF THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR (DOI) INFORMATION SYSTEMS.

This computer system, including all related equipment, networks, and network devices (including Internet access), is provided by the Department of the Interior (DOI) in accordance with the agency policy for official use and limited personal use. All agency computer systems may be monitored for all lawful purposes, including but not limited to, ensuring that use is authorized, for management of the system, to facilitate protection against unauthorized access, and to verify security procedures, survivability and operational security. Any information on this computer system may be examined, recorded, copied and used for authorized purposes at any time. All information, including personal information, placed or sent over this system may be monitored, and users of this system are reminded that such monitoring does occur. Therefore, there should be no expectation of privacy with respect to use of this system. By logging into this agency computer system, you acknowledge and consent to the monitoring of this system. Evidence of your use, authorized or unauthorized, collected during monitoring may be used for civil, criminal, administrative, or other adverse action. Unauthorized or illegal use may subject you to prosecution.

Payments to Pay.gov temporarily down
Direct payments should be an available option to make payments through TIMS Web Pipeline Permits and eWell but not yet through Facility Safety Systems (FSS). Meanwhile, for FSS, continue making the payments via pay.gov website directly and use the payment transaction reference in TIMSWeb. Sorry for the inconvenience.

TIMS Web User Community - DOI Agency and Industry
Effective October 2023, TIMS Web Login Portal access has changed due to the DOI security mandate to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Industry Users - Action is required. To access TIMS Web applications now requires BOTH a TIMSWeb account as well as a Login.gov account which provides pass-through authentication.It is no longer an option to log in with your Username and Password. Click HERE for instructions on how to create a Login.gov account and then how to link it to your TIMS Web account.

DOI Agency Users - There is no action for you to take due to this MFA security implementation. Simply ensure you are on a DOI internal network or your GFE has an active VPN connection and click the banner above that says "DOI Single Sign On Login (Agency Users)" to be auto-signed in to access TIMS Web applications.

PAPERWORK REDUCTION ACT STATEMENT: In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44. U.S.C. 3501 et seq.), the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management collect the information submitted via the web-based Technical Information Management System (TIMS Web) to implement the various environmental provisions of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA). Submitting information via TIMS Web provides an easier and more reliable reporting method, facilitates better business transactions, and provides for timelier decision making and information dissemination. Responses are mandatory (43 U.S.C. 1334). Proprietary data are covered under 30 CFR 250.197. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless a currently valid OMB Control Number is displayed. Public reporting burden of these requirements includes the time for reviewing instructions, gathering and maintaining data, and completing and reviewing the submitted data. OMB has approved the collection of information contained in TIMS Web, and all current burden hours and assigned OMB control numbers can be found at http://www.reginfo.gov.
