Ambassador Tammy Bruce serves as the Deputy U.S. Representative to the United Nations in New York, a position to which she was nominated by President Trump and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in December 2025. In this role, Ambassador Bruce represents the United States at the United Nations, advancing U.S. interests and engaging with international partners on a broad range of global issues.
Prior to her current appointment, Ambassador Bruce served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Representative to the United Nations and as the White House Public Delegate to the UN General Assembly. She also held the position of U.S. Department of State Spokesperson, where she advised the Secretary of State on press relations and served as the Department’s principal voice on U.S. foreign policy. In this capacity, she delivered public briefings and directed strategic communications on behalf of the Secretary and the Department.
Ambassador Bruce holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Southern California. She was honored with the Spirit of Lincoln Award from the Log Cabin Republicans in 2022.
Before entering government service, Ambassador Bruce was a political contributor and commentator on Fox News for over 20 years. She is also a New York Times bestselling author of four books focusing on political science, philosophy, and cultural critique.
