Workers' Compensation Claims
North Carolina workers' compensation claims are governed by Chapter 97 of the North Carolina General Statutes, also known as the Workers' Compensation Act. The Industrial Commission has adopted rules, known as the Workers' Compensation Rules, which apply to workers' compensation cases and which set forth Industrial Commission procedures and forms requirements related to its administration and adjudication of workers' compensation cases.
