Kenneth Cleveland, M.D.

Dr. Kenneth Cleveland has served as Executive Director of the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure since 2018. A surgeon, he earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1995 and completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as Chief Surgical Resident. He is a national leader in medical regulation, serving as Chair of the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission and on the Board of Directors of the Federation of State Medical Boards. Under his leadership, the Board was recognized as a Wellbeing First Champion by the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes' Foundation.
