Numerous storms are expected to develop across portions of North and Central GA through this evening. A few storms may be strong to severe, especially across Northeast GA, with the primary threat being damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph.

Numerous showers and storms with high rainfall rates could lead to localized flash flooding across portions of North and Central Georgia through this evening.

A typical summertime pattern is in place over our area with temperatures ranging from the low 80's to upper 80's over North Georgia and upper 80's to low 90's in Central Georgia. Expect afternoon thunderstorm chances each day through the period with some decrease in rain chances by the weekend.
