If you are not a citizen or permanent resident of Belgium, your wait time for a visa appointment will be much longer than the time listed on travel.state.gov. (currently 170 days) We encourage you to apply for a visa in your country of residence.
Please note we can only process visa applications from Belgians, residents of Belgium, and individuals physically present in Belgium for their interview. If you are not a Belgian national, nor resident, nor physically present in Belgium for an interview, we cannot process your nonimmigrant visa application.
Starting March 24, 2025, all visa applicants must bring a DS-160 visa application form with a confirmation/barcode number (starting with AA) that matches the one used to make their appointment. If the confirmation/barcode number on your DS-160 form does not match, you will need to book a new appointment to proceed with your application. You may book a new appointment on https://www.usvisaappt.com/visa/ . Before your interview, please double check that the barcode number on your DS-160 form matches the one you used to schedule your appointment. If you have any questions or need help, please contact https://www.usvisaappt.com/visa/ for assistance.
