Mission
The purpose of the Crane Operator Board of Examiners is to safeguard public safety by verifying the skills and qualifications of crane operator license applicants and assisting the Commissioner in maintaining professional standards.
The Board executes this function by reviewing the exams, experience, and skills required for a crane operator license. Additionally, the Commissioner of Labor can suspend, revoke, or deny renewal of certificates, and the Board assists in this process by holding hearings and reporting their findings to the Commissioner.
