The Consular section provides a variety of services for U.S. citizens as well as visa services.
Note: There is limited parking available for visa applicants and visitors to the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy. Cars parked in private parking lots of businesses located near the Embassy may be towed.
U.S. Citizen Services
The U.S. Citizen Services Unit assists U.S. citizens with passport renewal, registration of U.S. citizens living in Croatia, reports of birth for children of U.S. citizens born in Croatia, voter registration, income tax forms, notarial services, and emergency services to U.S. citizens.

Federal Benefits Unit
The Federal Benefits Unit in Athens, Greece assists individuals resident in Croatia with questions about benefits provided by U.S. federal government agencies such as the Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, Office of Personnel Management (civil services), and Railroad Retirement Board.

Immigrant Visa Unit
The Immigrant Visa Unit processes applications for immigrant visas by appointment only.
Nonimmigrant Visa Unit
The Nonimmigrant Visa Unit processes applications for temporary visas to the United States. These include tourist visas, business visas, student visas, and temporary work permits.
Visa applications are accepted by appointment only.
