LAM Statement

The Alaska State Library is exploring options and a sustainable path forward to support interlibrary loan services in FY27 and beyond. They are also working to ensure that any changes to the interlibrary loan and reference service does not impact a library’s eligibility for the Public Library Assistance (PLA) Grants. If you need assistance finding or obtaining material in the interim, please reach out to the Alaska State Library at aslill@alaska.gov or Head of Information Services & Historical Collections, Freya Anderson, at 907-465-1315. They will keep folks updated as more information becomes available.

Introduction
