Please use the U.S. Citizen Services Navigator to explore services available to U.S. Citizens in Saudi Arabia and to answer frequently asked questions.

The American Citizen Services (ACS) units at the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and the U.S. Consulates General in Jeddah and Dhahran provide a wide range of services to U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Saudi Arabia, including: passport, citizenship, and notarial services.  Note that all fees for services must be paid in U.S. dollars, Saudi riyal, or by major credit card. The embassy and consulates are closed on Saudi and American holidays.

We also assist U.S. citizens in situations involving death, arrest, illness, injury, missing persons and destitution. For additional information on emergency services, click here for contact information.

For all other services, appointments must be made through our online system. Routine inquiries should be made by email.  We generally respond to email inquiries in less than one business day.
