Overview

Bermuda is a group of about 138 coral islands and islets in the North Atlantic Ocean, east of the U.S. state of South Carolina.

Self-governing since 1620, Bermuda is the oldest and most populous of the British overseas territories.

Available outside of normal business hours and on weekends and holidays, for American citizens only, regarding arrests, deaths or life threatening illnesses.

In case of a life or death emergency involving an American citizen call 911 immediately. If you need additional assistance in an emergency or urgent situation, call the duty officer at (441) 335-3828. The duty officer is available 24 hours a day outside normal business hours and on weekends and holidays for emergencies.

You may call the consulate during regular office hours at (441) 295-1342 Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Please note, the consulate is closed for Bermudian and American holidays.
