Applicant Instructions
The next round for MOSTF project proposal application acceptance will open August 3, 2026, with an expected deadline of September 18, 2026.
Interested applicants should review the information at the link in Notice to Applicants to determine if your project proposal meets eligible criteria. If your project proposal meets the criteria of the Outdoor Stewardship Trust Fund requirements, you may click on Apply Online and register for an account to begin drafting on your application beginning on July 1, 2026. With your registered account, you will have the capability view the application, work on your application, and save your work as you go. Applications cannot be submitted until August 3, 2026. Official application closing date will be set during a future MOSTF Board Meeting.
- Application review and scoring process: September–December 2026
- Initial project awards decisions: January 11, 2027 Board Meeting
- MOU Process: January–March 2027
- Expected approved Start Date for approved projects: April 10, 2027
- Project Expiration Date: April 10, 2029
Notice: The MOSTF Board of Trustees will not consider funding for land acquisition project proposals until further notice (Effective June 12, 2024).
