Lane closures

Sunday, August 9

• Northbound mainlanes between Harvey Mitchell Parkway and University Drive – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • All traffic must exit through the northbound Southwest Parkway exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just south of University Drive. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramps just south of Harvey Mitchell Parkway, Southwest Parkway, and Harvey Road will be closed.

Monday, August 10

• Southbound mainlane between Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street and Briarcrest Drive – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • The southbound mainlanes will be closed for a concrete bridge placement and between University Drive and Harvey Mitchell Parkway a traffic pattern change will occur in two steps:
    • Step 1: The southbound mainlane left lane will be closed from just north of Briarcrest Drive to University Drive and the southbound mainlanes will be fully closed between University Drive and Harvey Mitchell Parkway for a traffic pattern change. All traffic must exit through the southbound Harvey Road exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Harvey Mitchell Parkway. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps just north of Harvey Road and Southwest Parkway will be closed. The southbound entrance ramps just north of Briarcrest Drive and University Drive will remain open during the closure.
    • Step 2: The southbound mainlanes will be fully closed between Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street and Briarcrest Drive for a concrete bridge placement. All traffic must exit through the William J. Bryan Parkway exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Briarcrest Drive. The left lane and full mainlane closures from Step 1 will stay in effect for the remainder of the night. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps just north of Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street will be closed.
• Southbound frontage road right turn lane at Texas Avenue/Deacon Drive intersection – Single-lane DAYTIME closure – 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • The southbound frontage road right turn lane at the intersection to install an underground structure. Traffic may continue on the southbound frontage road using the second right turn lane.

Tuesday, August 11

• Northbound mainlanes between Southwest Parkway and Briarcrest Drive – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • All traffic must exit through the Harvey Road exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just south of Briarcrest Drive. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramps just south of Southwest Parkway, Harvey Road, and University Drive will be closed.

Wednesday, August 12

• Northbound mainlanes between Southwest Parkway and Briarcrest Drive – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • The northbound mainlanes will be closed for paving operations and between Briarcrest Drive and Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street for a concrete bridge placement in two steps:
    • Step 1: The northbound mainlanes will be fully closed between Southwest Parkway and Briarcrest Drive for paving operations. All traffic must exit through the northbound Harvey Road exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just south of Briarcrest Drive. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramps just south of Southwest Parkway, Harvey Road, and University Drive will be closed.
    • Step 2: The northbound mainlanes left lane will be closed from the entrance ramp just south of Briarcrest Drive and the northbound mainlanes will be fully closed between Briarcrest Drive and Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street for a concrete bridge placement. All traffic must exit through the northbound William J. Bryan Parkway exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just south of Old Reliance/Martin Luther King Jr. Street. The full mainlane closure from Step 1 will stay in effect for the remainder of the night. Additionally, the northbound entrance ramp just south of William J. Bryan Parkway will be closed. The northbound entrance ramp just south of Briarcrest Drive will remain open during the closure.

Thursday, August 13

• Southbound mainlanes between Briarcrest Drive and Southwest Parkway – Full Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • All traffic must exit through the southbound University Drive exit ramp and may re-enter the mainlanes just north of Southwest Parkway. Additionally, the southbound entrance ramps just north of Briarcrest Drive, University Drive, and Harvey Road will be closed.
• Northbound Texas Avenue – Exit Ramp Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • The northbound Texas Avenue exit ramp will be closed for paving operations. Northbound traffic can access Texas Avenue by turning left on Southwest Parkway.

Friday, August, 14

• Northbound Texas Avenue – Exit Ramp Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • The northbound Texas Avenue exit ramp will be closed for paving operations. Northbound traffic can access Texas Avenue by turning left on Southwest Parkway.

Sunday, August 16

• Northbound Texas Avenue – Exit Ramp Closure – 7:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
  • The northbound Texas Avenue exit ramp will be closed for paving operations. Northbound traffic can access Texas Avenue by turning left on Southwest Parkway.
