Warm and Mostly Dry Tonight

Advisory level heat indices could continue for the next few days. Widespread Major HeatRisk is expected for all urban areas. Maximum heat indices will range from 105-110°F each afternoon through at least the middle of this week across South Florida. High temperatures will be in the lower to mid 90s.

With high pressure and drier air in place across the region, skies tonight should be mostly clear and temperatures warmer than average. A few isolated showers may persist across Southwest Florida in the evening, but most storm activity should already be winding down by sunset. Across the Atlantic beaches, breezy easterly flow will keep a Moderate Risk of rip currents through tonight.
