Global UGRAD Program

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) brings exceptional undergraduate student leaders to the United States for a one-semester, non-degree exchange at U.S. higher education institutions to enhance students’ academic and professional skills, create global networks, and contribute to civic building.  The program increases participants’ understanding of the United States and enhances their leadership skills through academic coursework, community service, and professional development activities.

Timelines

  • November-December: Call for applications
  • January-February: Interview
  • March-April: Selection notification
  • June-July: Placement and exchange preparation
  • August/September or January: Begin exchange fellowship at a university
