Monthly Charges

The basic monthly meter service charge for water supplied to domestic, commercial, industrial, irrigation, agricultural, and municipal customers is as follows:
Minimum Charge: If a customer has no consumption, the minimum charge shall be the monthly meter service charge.

*Lifeline Rate as defined in the Light & Water Rules and Regulations, item F, page 6 of the Water Rate Schedule. The lifeline rate subsidy was funded through discretionary revenues. This approach allowed Azusa Light & Water to provide rate relief to low-income customers without requiring additional funding to be created through utility rates.
