Residential Rebeates for Electricity

Home Weatherization and Residential ENERGY STAR® Appliance Rebate
Effective March 1st, 2018, all residential rebates will be applied as a credit to the applicant’s electric utility account. 

Overview

Rebates are available to City of Azusa residents who receive electric service from Azusa Light & Water (ALW) to help them save energy and lower their bills. By making energy-efficient upgrades, such as weatherizing their homes and purchasing ENERGY STAR®-rated appliances, these rebates make them more affordable and help reduce long-term energy costs.

Who Can Apply

Participation will be on a first-come basis for ALW residential electric customers. Applicant must:

• Be a resident of the City of Azusa prior to applying for this program.
• Purchase one or more ENERGY STAR® appliances within the last 6 months of the application date.
• Complete a Home Weatherization and Residential ENERGY STAR® Appliance Program Rebate Form and submit it to Azusa Light & Water. 
• Include purchase receipts and other requirements, and the signed, completed application.
• Note that rebates and the list of qualified products are subject to change without prior notice.

What is ENERGY STAR®?

An ENERGY STAR® rating means a product is certified to use less energy while delivering the same performance as standard models. ENERGY STAR–rated products meet strict energy-efficiency standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

• They use less electricity (or gas), which helps lower energy bills.
• They’re tested and verified, so you can trust the savings without sacrificing quality or comfort.
