Background

As a former educator, Congressman Bell believes strong public education systems create opportunity and strengthen communities. Congressman Bell supports investments in students, educators, and workforce readiness. He is firmly committed to protecting the U.S. Department of Education, the TRIO programs, public education, student aid, and the Pell Grant, all of which are essential in providing opportunities to those who need them most. These programs lift people up, support communities, and strengthen our nation as a whole.
