50 scholarships to study in the United States in 2027

GENERATION250 is a program created by the U.S. Embassy in France, in partnership with MICEFA and EF Education First.

In 2027, 50 French students will receive scholarships to study in the United States:

  • 25 MICEFA scholarships for students with an advanced level of English to study at a U.S. university for one semester
  • 25 EF scholarships for students who want to improve their English through an intensive summer program

25 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY AT A U.S. UNIVERSITY

The MICEFA scholarship is for French students who are in their first or second year of university in the 2026–2027 academic year. It covers: English language test fees, visa costs, university tuition, accommodation, meals and daily expenses and round-trip flights. 25 INTENSIVE LANGUAGE PROGRAMS TO IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH

The EF Education First scholarship offers a one-month intensive language program for French university students or students in their final year of high school who want to improve their English. It covers: a one-month intensive English course, accommodation, meals and daily expenses, and round-trip flights. Programs take place in summer 2027 at a campus in New York or San Diego.
