- California Libraries in the News: A weekly newsletter providing an update of recent media coverage on the libraries of California.
- California State Publications: A monthly listing of official publications received by the California State Library from California governmental agencies.
- CSL News and Events: Email alerts for upcoming events at the California State Library (CSL)
- Government Publications Newsletter — The Navigator: A quarterly newsletter with updates and event information relating to government publications.
- Information Services — Gillis Gazette: Quarterly newsletter packed with news and fun tidbits about everything from obscure old books to valuable databases and library cards.
- LibrarytoLibrary: A monthly email newsletter from Library Development Services of the State Library containing information on upcoming opportunities, resources and more.
- Studies in the News: A California Research Bureau (CRB) newsletter which runs Wednesdays, providing recent studies that may be useful to policy discussions.
- Sutro Library Updates: Occasional emails relevant information for patrons interested in genealogy and Adolph Sutro’s historic collections.
- Witkin Law Newsletter: A quarterly newsletter with updates and information from the Witkin State Law Library
