American Citizens Services

Important Information

U.S. Embassy Moscow provides consular services to U.S. citizens in Russia. To get started, please use our ACS Navigator to find resources, information, and services.

The American Citizen Services Unit is offering online appointment scheduling  for routine passport applications and notarial services.  To apply for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), please follow this guidance to submit a CRBA application.

You may bring someone else with you to your appointment (examples: an attorney, an interpreter, or a family member). The individual will be subject to standard security procedures and screening.

New appointments are opened periodically when resources permit. Please note that notary appointments are solely for notarization of documents, not for discussion of visas or other matters. You will be turned away if you schedule a notary appointment without a need for notarial services.
