What is OneStop?

OneStop is a NOAA data search platform that provides raw data of geophysical information, oceans, coasts, weather, and climate.

OneStop is best used for weather, climate, and satellite data.

There are two main ways to find data in OneStop:

  • Clicking on icons for popular topics
  • Using the search box

Below is a screenshot of the OneStop homepage, which displays both of these options:

How to Search

  1. Enter your phrase into the search box.
  2. Your results will display as "boxes" of data sets, containing information such as files, access, identifiers, and metadata.
  3. On the left hand side, you will find collection filters that can help narrow your results by location, date, and attributes such as  projects, data formats, platforms, and instruments.
